Design & Operation of Work Zone Traffic Control
OVERVIEW
This class builds on the basic work zone traffic control principles. Attendees are instructed on how to properly design and operate typical maintenance activity work zones that increase the safety of both workers and the traveling public.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of this class, attendees should be able to:
Identify the components of a good work zone
Be able to set up a proper work zone
Be able to evaluate a work zone
AUDIENCE
This class should be of interest to engineers, technicians, safety personnel, supervisors, and anyone who is involved with work zone design, set-up, or inspection.
